Our (mostly ‘my’) Story

As a beer obsessed designer I have, since Feb 2017, run an Instagram account called @thecraftdiaries as a way to try different beers and practise my illustration by having fun with the artwork; bringing the labels and stories behind the beers to life.

As my followers grew and I spoke to more and more beer enthusiasts, I felt I could do something more with the account, and I noticed there was a hole in the market for craft beer glassware that wasn’t branded by a brewery. So during lockdown in May 2020 I launched my first glass, my Juice Bomb tumbler.

Since launching my Juice Bomb glass, I have built a small range of core glasses, as well as a number of limited release one off designs which once sold out will not be reprinted.

I’ve loved seeing people enjoying using my glasses on social media, and as long as people keep enjoying the glasses, I’ll keep launching new designs with the goal of adding a little more fun to your beer drinking experience.

The Craft Diaries has become a three person project (myself included). Person two is my dad; huge credit and thanks goes to him, as he has helped with logistics and many other elements of my little hobby gone wrong. Without his support my glass launches would have been infinitely more stressful! Person three is my wife, who for years has been dragged around on holiday to bottle shops to find local beers, as well as always being rambled at by me about my new glass ideas.

If you are still reading… thanks for your interest! Also, if you’ve ever purchased a glass, thanks so much and I hope that it is serving you well!

Cheers, Dave
